In 2007, the Ankara Cinema Association held a scenario competition titled “Tales from Kars” in which five stories by Özcan Alper, Zehra Derya Koç, Ülkü Oktay, Ahu Öztürk ve Emre Akay were chosen and featured.

This compilation, also titled the “Tales from Kars” was shown in festivals all over the world, from Istanbul to Rotterdam to Boston.
