Turkish-American Television had the pleasure of recording a Toastmasters Meeting at Fairfax Public Access, during which “Beautiful Turkey” was the topic of discussion. Paul White, a Distinguished Toastmaster, shared a Turkish folktale entitled “Rose Beauty” and wowed the audience with his magic show, which aptly enhanced an already alluring tale.

Distinguished Toastmaster Shu Bartholomew detailed her lovely summers spent in Turkey as a teenager. Some of her experiences included traditionally dining on rockfish in Mersin and riding into the mountains on mules to visit the fresh water springs. She also explains the legend behind the fascinating Kiz Kulesi, translated into English as”The Maiden’s Tower.”
